Importing a SCORM Course to Tovuti

This guide will walk you through how to add a SCORM course to the Tovuti Learning Management System (LMS).

First, you will need to obtain your secret SCORM token from your Interplay Learning Representative.

Next, navigate to https://skilledtrades.interplaylearning.com/scorm.html where you can type in your SCORM token and then click OK.

Once you've entered your SCORM token, you will see the available SCORM course downloads categories.

Simply click on your desired category and course and the SCORM zip file will appear in your Downloads folder by default. Hold onto that for now as we will add it to the Tovuti LMS soon.

For this example, I have downloaded the "Residential A/C Troubleshooting - 3D/VR" course.

Log into Tovuti and make sure that you have Administrator permissions.

Select on "SCORM Library" from the side menu.

Select the green "New" button.

Add an appropriate title.

I recommend changing the SCORM Frame Height to 500 as I found this provided a better viewing experience, especially on mobile devices. However, you may want to adjust this based on your own preferences.

Finally, click "Browse" so that we can add in our SCORM package.

Select the SCORM zip file that you downloaded earlier and click "Open".

Confirm that your SCORM package uploaded successfully and then click "Save & Close".

You should now see your SCORM package title in the SCORM Library list. Next, click on "Courses" in the side menu.

Select the green "New" button.

Add an appropriate Course Name and Title alias.

Select an appropriate Category (at the very least, select "General Courses").

For best results, ask your Interplay Learning Representative for a course description.

Finally, click on the "Content Libraries" tab.

Select "Yes" to "Use Library Content" and select the appropriate SCORM Package from the drop-down menu.

Feel free to change any of the other settings from the other tabs.

Once you are finished, select the green "Save" button.

I recommend selecting "Preview Course" to ensure your course was properly imported.

At this point you should be able to see your new course in the Courses list.

As long as a course has a check mark under "Published", that course is visible to students.
