What are the device requirements for simulations?
Simulations are available through a desktop browser or tablet app. The simulations can also be paired with virtual reality equipment for a fully immersive training experience.
Browser Requirements
- 64-bit operating system: Simulations run on most modern 64-bit browsers, including Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported.
- 8GB of RAM is highly recommended. Simulations may load on a machine with 4GB of RAM with reduced speed and performance. The simulations will not load in a browser on a machine with less than 4GB of RAM.
- Most Intel i3, i5, or i7 processors (or equivalent) should be sufficient. Machines with Pentium, Atom, and Celeron processors are sometimes not powerful enough for the simulations, so results may vary.
- You should have an internet connection speed of at least 15mbps.
Tablet Requirements
Simulations will not run in a browser on tablets or VR devices. In order to run simulations on an iPad, Android tablet, or VR headset, you must use the Interplay Learning or Interplay Learning Player app.
