What is the Insights tab on the Team page?

Insights introduces tiles of detailed analytics on user engagement, assignment progress, and team performance, enhancing data visibility for administrators and team leads.

Team Overview Tile

This tile displays counts for Total Members, Active Members, Inactive Members and Licenses Left. Users who have not performed any learning activity in specified time frame are considered Inactive

Interactions: Clickable "Add Members" text opens add team member modal

User Engagement Tile

This tile displays counts Total Time Spent Learning (in hours), and Total Points Earned.

Leaderboard

Shows top five users based on points earned in the selected time frame and their points earned.

Assignments Tiles

These tiles display the Total # Courses and Paths that have been assigned. There are tiles for in progress and completed assignments.

Interactions: Clicking numbers opens a list of the courses or paths in that count.

Elected Tiles

These tiles display the Total # Courses and Paths that users have enrolled in on their own (not been assigned to them). Admins can find out what topics users are interested in learning and self-starting. There are tiles for in progress and completed elections.

Assignments Overdue Tile

These two tiles display the Total # Courses Overdue and Total # Paths Overdue.

This is an all-time view, not affected by time filters

Make Note!

  • You can apply filters and then share a link from this tab, the filters will remain when the URL is opened.

  • Time Frame filters match the options in Flexible Reporting.

  • Assignment Overdue tile is not influenced by time filters.

  • Top Users tile limited to a maximum of five users displayed.

  • Deleted and deactivated members are not included in these counts.

Q&A + Additional Details

Q: Can I view overdue assignments for a specific timeframe?
A: No, the Assignments Overdue tile displays data for all time.

Q: What happens if there are fewer than five users in the Top Users tile?
A: It will display all available users.

Q: How do I add multiple members at once?
A: Currently, the "Add Members" feature supports adding one user at a time. To add multiple members, go to the Team Members tab and use the bulk upload feature.

Q: Are time spent metrics available in both hours and minutes?
A: No, the dashboard aggregates time spent in hours only.
