How do I log in with SSO instead of a password?

Follow these steps to authorize SSO login so that you don't need to remember a password.

When a user account is created with a password, the user will automatically be asked to enter that password when logging in. This could be after a user clicked the link in their invite email and created a password for their account or after an Instructor (admin) imported/updated users with a password.

You can switch from logging in with a password to SSO by following these steps:

  1. Log into your SkillMill account.
  2. Click your name at the top right, and select "Profile."

  3. Click the "Subscription and Account" tab.
  4. Click the "Change Password" button.

  5. Scroll down to the "Or Login With" section, and click the SSO option you want to use (Microsoft, Apple, or Google).

  6. Complete the SSO authorization that appears on your screen.

Note: If your organization has a white label site (i.e., you log into a site like yourcompany.interplay.com instead of SkillMill), SSO needs to be set up on the site before you can use it. If you don't see any SSO options in your account, your supervisor or administrator can contact us to set up Open ID Connect or Microsoft SSO. Once that's done, you can follow the steps above (except you'll be logging into your company's site instead of the SkillMill site).
