What Can (and Can't) You Do on Tablets?

Using a tablet is a convenient way to complete Interplay Learning courses while in the field. This article outlines what is supported on tablets and what features are limited.

Things You Can Do on a Tablet

The following things can be done on a tablet when using the app:

  • Complete courses, including videos, simulations, and knowledge checks

You must be using the app in order to complete simulations on a tablet.

  • Complete welcome assessments

  • View the course catalog, and enroll in new courses and learning paths

  • View and manage your profile, including:

    • add or update your contact information

    • reset your password

    • add or update industry certification IDs, such as NATE ID and EPA 608 ID

    • manage your subscription (for Individual subscribers)

Things You Cannot Do on a Tablet

The following things cannot be done on a tablet, even when using the app. Please log into the website on a computer instead:

  • Download course completion certificates

  • Access third party exams and certifications, such as OSHA and EPA Section 608

  • Access Instructor (admin) functions, such as the Command Center

While the Interplay Learning app can also be installed on a phone, simulations will not work well on a phone. Phones generally do not have enough processing power or a large enough screen to successfully complete simulations.
